Film Is Beautiful of the Day: What are the most beautiful movies ever made?

It’s one helluva question, but Flavorwire editors were up for the task.

I liked this video a lot. I was waiting for them to throw in a Zhang Yimou clip because his cinematographers do amazing things with film as a medium.

I was a bit disappointed with a few of their choices for clips, if only because I felt that yes, they were breathtakingly beautiful, but did not take advantage of the medium. They would’ve been just as stunning as photographs. I was most appreciative of the clips that were gorgeous because they were moving pictures and not still ones.
